Comments: The person behind the project sees those old television test patterns as universal symbols, which are, if you're over 30-years-old, probably "engraved in your spirit." The multicoloured image, also said to symbolize Orwell's Big Brother, "penetrated all the hearths, without being invited." No doubt, television has had powerful impact on our lives, and that subliminal image, an emblem of earlier days in the media, lives on in this artist's posters, stickers, and mosaics, found on the streets of Paris and showcased on the site.
