There's several dozen
photo essays in the archives going back to 2000, done by Cary Conover, the site's editor, and a number of other photographers. The most recent,
the social life, is all black & white – superb people pics (not to mention a few critters) in a variety of settings – very
real. I can say the same for the
commonplace essay. Leisa Thompson's
barns is another one I like – "all i know is that when i step foot inside i am consumed with an overwhelming sense of peace."
