"The enduring power of photography lies in the acceptance of its images as credible documentary records with enduring archival validity." Mike Seaborne, on of the site's creators, says the challenge is to capture not only the "physical manifestations" of continuous changes to the urban landscape, but to also "make visible the underlying social and cultural forces which ultimately determine their form and meaning."
