"I bounce between trying to be an academic intellectualist, an independent bohemian retro-creative artist, a comfort-seeking nolifer and a fantasy-inspired brave adventurer." Through her "traditional" paintings and drawings, and more recently, through photography, Emilia seeks new "means and ways of expression." Whether the artwork is created as in painting, or depicts what actually exists, which is more the case for her fine art photography, she certainly has a special way of expressing herself. "We will see where the next decade takes me..."
