It's a collection of visual works from an anonymous designer in Poland – a quick and enjoyable browse. I like the quiet Flash interface. Explore a little and you'll find a tasty ecard too...;~)) (RSS)

A user at Newstoday® posted a link to this bluesy .mp3, which helped me find today's pick. There's an assortment of photos (the experimental stuff is cool) plus some great short movies (Firefox users may want to avoid using the [close window] button in the movie pop-ups, as bugginess may ensue). For real amusing bonus content, scroll down to the bottom of the main page...;~)) (RSS)

The site was created by a "miscellaneous conceptually based artist (sort of)" who "believes that everything is interesting..." and "aims to bring together artists, curators and writers." Something odd. The submissions page has a note at the bottom that "hippies need not apply." My first thought was what's with that? Looks like another visitor asked the same thing in the what's with? section (where you'll find a few other amusing rants). I particularly like the artist projects (a huge assortment) and snapshots ("absolutely no context" photo album). I wonder if hipstop.com is taken...;~)) (RSS)

"Small moments of daily poetry... in visual form." Iolanda captures colors in more ways than one. Txuma has an eye for detail and abandoned things. Orange appreciates simple things like growing darkness and a tree. All very subjective, honest, and relaxing...  [meddle < Yay Hooray!] (RSS)

Unlike typical dance performance, which has a predefined sequence and only one ending, hyperchoreography is non-linear, "existing in an interactive, networked medium." Instead of finished work being presented on the site, the user is provided with elements, or snippets of dance, and "the shape of the work is decided by the user at the moment of interaction." There's currently 2 works, one of which even allows the user to record and playback their own "journey through the work." It raises an interesting question. "When you see it again does it seem the same?" See for yourself...  (RSS)

To see the whole thing, you'll need to figure some things out. Explore a bit with your mouse to get started and as you meet each challenge along the way, you'll be amply rewarded for your patience. Beautiful visuals with music to match. It took a while, but I made it to the end – loved every minute of it...;~))  [Newstoday®] (RSS)

"No winners. No losers. Just good conversation." As in battles and contests, the designers modify or build on each others' images, but a DSNLG isn't a competition at all – it's a conversation, primarily visual (and most tasty) and supplemented by discussion. From the site's large archive of designologues to its Lounge and community members' Profiles, the content, site design, and backend are simply excellent...  (RSS)

One of Dan's photographic series, at the edge of space, includes an amazing rocket launch shot and six other untitled images, all taken in 1999. I also like the 3 motorway vistas. But it's the 11 shots in the no echo series that simply blew me away...;~))  (RSS)

Many of the photos are 880px wide – the site's simple design accommodates the width nicely – very clean. Some great black & whites (check out this) – interesting effects too. From a 17-year-old in Toronto – excellent in my opinion...  (RSS)

A piece of interactive net.art made in the days of Flash 5 – odd (in a good way). Once you get the navigation, you're on your way to enjoying the various LivingRooms from the mind of Jody Bielun. Have fun...;~))  [Net Art Links] (RSS)
