Go Figure!

I submitted this site to YooNoHoo! on June 13th and they added it to their directory on June 17th - I may be headed for the Guinness Book of Records.

It's most interesting that YooNoHoo! decided to list this site as "YooNoHoo!" instead of the name I submitted, which was "I am really fed up with YooNoHoo!"  I've often heard that the first step to solving a problem is to admit that you have a problem - calling me "YooNoHoo!" must be some Freudian denial on their part - don't you think?  Fact is, I'm sure YooNoHoo! they are and they know who they are.  I know who I am and that's not YooNoHoo!

Although I do appreciate YooNoHoo's apparent sense of humor and openness to criticism by listing this site so promptly, and also for resolving one of my other problems on June 23rd, I am still really fed up with YooNoHoo! about an ongoing issue about how CoolSTOP is categorized and described in it's directory. It appears that this issue will never be fully resolved.

I have repeatedly tried communicating with YooNoHoo! about the issue and my inquiries had received no responses except an auto-response that defends their inability to be responsive!  Recently, I did actually receive a personal response from someone at YooNoHoo!, but it really didn't accomplish the resolution I've been fighting for.  Could it be that coolstop.com is seen as a competitor of YooNoHoo! or maybe some of their friends, hmm?  Or maybe it's just that YooNoHoo! has grown too big and successful to ever be personal with it's supporters... just another big place in corporate poopooland.

If it were not for people like me and you, using YooNoHoo! and participating in their features and clicking on their sponsors' banners, where would they be?  And why do they ask us to help build their almighty directory, anyway?  All of this is just opinion anyway.  YooNoHoo! sucks and there's little we can do about it.

So - maybe I'm just one of a few webmasters who have had so many problems with them - but if you've had similar experiences with YooNoHoo!, feel free to use one of the buttons or badges below (load it from your own server please).  Please link back to this site as shown, so others in the same boat can join us.  And please - don't put the button or badge on your page unless its message is true, and remove it promptly if you're lucky enough to find your problem resolved.

Please do not use a button or badge on your site unless its message is absolutely true.
Why? Because YooNoHoo! might suddenly become responsive (yeah, right!) - so let's be fair about it.
